Leading main contractor operating in the civils and construction markets is looking for a planner to join a growing team in Surrey to work on projects across the South East in Sussex, Kent, Surrey, South London and Berkshire. Projects range in value form £3million to £50million and cover education, health care, mixed use, high-rise residential and commercial divisions.
For this position I am looking for candidates who hold a mixture of tender and site planning experience. Applicants will have worked for a main contractor as a planning engineer on construction projects for a minimum of 18 months. My client has requested that prior to working in planning candidates will have done a site based role as a site engineer, site manager, project manager or surveyor.
On offer with this position is a salary of £35,000 - £42,000, company car or car allowance, pension, bonus and sponsored education. This contractor is succession planning and there is a good structure in place to help new recruits to progress. Therefore I am looking for highly motivated, passionate and personable candidates.
