Deputy Planning Manager – Qatar
Deputy Planning Manager is currently required for an opportunity to join an international engineering organisation based in Qatar. The Deputy Planning Manager will join a team of 6 other Planning Engineers and they will be second in command to the Principal Planning Manager who is wholly responsible for leading the planning function in Qatar and the delivery of a portfolio construction projects to develop the country’s infrastructure.
They are seeking a Planning Engineer that has a minimum of 7 years of experience within planning which has been gained on major infrastructure projects. The Deputy Planning Manager will be degree educated within Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and they will need to be able to display a career path which has seen them spent circa 5-6 years within site management or design management prior to moving into planning. Also the candidate will need to have gained their experience within a tier one main contracting environment. This opportunity would suit a Senior Planning Engineer that is seeking to take the next step on the career ladder.
Candidate
· Degree educated or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
· Experienced on major infrastructure projects
· Minimum of 7 years planning experience within a tier one main contracting environment
· Minimum of 5-6 years site management or design management experience prior to moving into a full time planning role.
· Strong Primavera P6 skills
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
