Scantec are currently looking for Project Controls Managers and Assistant Project Control Managers for long term contracts in the Reading area. There is a high demand for skilled professionals to provide support to the many long-term projects at this site. Role
- Involved with a wide range of projects at various stages in the lifecycle offering unique challenges
- With major projects valued at several hundred million pounds to many smaller infrastructure schemes, you will be able to utilise and further develop the full range of your skills and expertise.
- Manage each aspect of cost estimating and control, planning and scheduling, change control, risk management and document control.
- Management of cost reporting and Earned Value
- Part of a large multi-disciplinary team with the capability to draw upon the experience of many professionals with a diverse range of expertise.
Candidate
- Degree qualified or equivalent in an engineering discipline, chartered status advantageous
- Several years project controls experience, with a proven track record in the management of planning, estimating, cost, risk and documentation control.
- Since the nature of many projects on site will be complex engineering construction/heavy engineering, your background will need to reflect relevant experience in this field. Large project experience from any of the Nuclear, Oil&Gas, Petrochem or Pharmaceutical industries would be ideal
- Familiarity with project planning tools such as Primavera P3(e)/ MS Project.
