Outage Planner, Consultancy, Midlands and Yorkshire, Permanent or Contract, Primavera P6
Client, leading consultant working internationally across the defence & aerospace, oil & gas, nuclear, marine, civils, construction, renewable energy and rail sectors on projects worth up to £5 billion in value. As a business they have a fantastic name for their employees’ high levels of development, support, training and progression.
The role:
- Outage planning to avoid risk on a highly complex, national project covering 160+ sites around the UK
- SAP and resource management, planning when each site requires an SAP and overseeing the process
- Making sure that each site undergoes a safe shutdown and start up
- Operating around TP205 National Grid process
- Create and update programmes using Primavera P6
The candidate:
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK as security clearance is required for this position. This means that applicants must have lived, worked in the UK and held a UK passport for a minimum of 5 years. Candidates must also hold a clean criminal record and no history of bankruptcy.
- Resource Management, Outages, Shutdown, Primavera P6 experience essential
- Experience of the defence or oil & gas industry is desired but not essential
- Ideal candidates will have previously worked either for or in conjunction with National Grid and will have experience of the TP205 system
- Will have strong experience working out on site and will have a determined and strong personality with the ability to offer advice to senior people on changing current processes
- Experience in creating, managing and updating construction programmes/schedules
- Will be conversant and confident with the use of Primavera P5
This role offers a good contract or permanent rate, overnight/hotel accommodation for sites that are not commutable and the chance to work on a large project that is likely to continue for the next 5 years.
