Senior Planning Engineer, Construction – West Midlands
My client is an international main contracting business that is experienced and renowned for their excellence in the delivery of major projects across the globe. Due to recent project wins they are currently seeking a Senior Planning engineer with a UK main contractor background to join their operations in the West Midlands.
The Senior Planning Engineer will report directly into the regions Planning Lead and work independently with responsibility for the delivery of a portfolio of projects including new build and refurbishment schemes varying in value. In addition the Senior Planning Engineer will also be responsible for producing competitive tenders for construction projects within their operating catchment area.
Candidate Requirements
· Strong knowledge of construction techniques and processes.
· Strong planning knowledge on UK construction projects at tender and contract stages.
· Good working knowledge of planning software packages.
· Main Contractor experience.
· First class communication skills both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently.
On offer is a basic salary between £45-55,000 per annum (depending upon experience) plus a main contractor’s benefits package including car or car allowance, pension, healthcare, bonus etc.
