RS&H has an opening for the position of South Central Region Planning Leader in the Dallas, TX office. RS&H is seeking a motivated senior practitioner to lead and develop our Dallas planning and design practice. This is a department head and practice leadership position. We are committed to providing outstanding professional services and technical excellence. You will be responsible for project management, personnel, production, business development and related tasks including:
- Planning and design market development leader
- Project manager for key clients or major assignments in assigned market area.
- Direction and supervise a multi-discipline professional technical group.
- Operating and marketing budgets, as well as goal setting, staffing, recruiting, project coordination and productivity necessary to provide high quality service within the group.
- Oversees all design, management and technical aspects of all projects within the group.
- Coordinates with other office directors to ensure a consistent level of technical standards and applications among offices.
Illustrative assignments include: context sensitive solutions, development and redevelopment planning, environmental studies, design guidelines, urban plans, transportation/land-use plans, sustainability applications, landscape architecture, corridor/highway master plans, and related assignments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or Architecture or related field
- 12 years of experience or Master’s degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design or related field
- 10 years of experience and AICP, RLA, RA, or CEP required. LEED Accredited Professional is desirable.
