Our Client, a South African major contractor is urgently seeking Forensic Planners for in South Africa, Johannesburg. An ideal individual will be a claims planner / scheduler with P6 experience and critical path analysis experience, educated to degree level or equivalent, have a proven track record on large-scale projects, and possess strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to providing solutions.
To be considered for this role you must have experience in the following:
- Experience in construction planning and scheduling; construction design; construction project management; construction project controls in infrastructure, oil and gas or industrial sectors.
- Delay analysis or assistant to expert witness services in contentious or litigious issues
- A history of delivering delay analysis commissions including schedule analysis and report writing
- Post contract baseline preparation
- Monthly as built updates
- Progress Reports
- Time impact analysis
- Establishing accepted or master programme
- Quarterly internal executive reports on progress
- EOT preparation
Skills
- Educated to degree level within civil engineering or a related construction field.
- Extensive knowledge of primavera, preferably P6
- The ability to liaise with clients communicating the principles of planning in a clear and concise manner
- A proven ability in report writing
