Senior / Principal Planning Engineer – Heavy Civils - £60-75k plus package
My client is one of the most highly regarded main contractors whose operations span across the UK and Internationally. They operate across a number of engineering disciplines that are experienced in the delivery of some complex and very exciting projects. Due to their continued success they are currently seeking a Senior / Principal Planning Engineer to join their successful tendering team based in London.
The Senior Planner / Principal Planner will be office based for 90 percent of their time working alongside the organisations Pre Construction Department and playing an important role in guidance of junior planners, producing successful tenders and assisting the business with winning high profile civil engineering projects in the UK.
The Senior Planner / Principal Planning Engineer will need to be able to demonstrate a minimum of 7 years planning experience with a successful track record in a similar position. Experience gained within a Main Contractor’s Pre Construction Department is essential as is experience of heavy civil engineering valued at £20m plus. In addition the Senior / Principal Planner will be educated to degree level or equivalent in civil engineering, experienced in the use of Primavera planning software and capable of commuting at all levels.
On offer is a basic salary of between £60-75k and a main contractor’s benefits package which includes car or car allowance, pension, travel allowance, life insurance etc.
