URGENT – Project Planner OR Senior Planner, South East, Permanent, Construction, Asta Powerproject, Salary £35-60k + package depending on level.
This position is to work for a leading contractor that operates as part of a reputable international group of companies. They focus on construction and fit out projects up to the value of £100 million and notably worked on Heathrow Airport. Having been established for nearly 100 years, my client has a strong presence within the UK construction market and obtains much of their work through repeat business.
The role itself is for a Project Planner or Senior Planner and has arisen due to one of the planners in the team relocating to Australia. Projects are based in and around London and the M25 and include schools, colleges, student accommodation, retail developments and high rise residential schemes. The software of choice is Asta Powerproject. This role will offer a split between tender and site planning. The reporting office will be in Hampshire.
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years planning experience working on build projects for a contractor
- A sound understanding of Asta Powerproject software is essential
- Will have experience in both preparing tender documentation and site planning
- Strong written, spoken and personal skills are essential, candidates must be strong communicators
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK, VISA SPONSORSHIP IS NOT BEING OFFERED
- MUST HAVE A UK DRIVING LICENCE
Coupled with this role will be a competitive salary, for the project planner up to 45k and for the senior a maximum of 60k, the package will include a generous car allowance, BUPA, pension, discretionary bonus, life insurance and sponsored education allowance.
