Project Controls Manager 

Logmor Projects International Limited has an excellent Project Control Managers opportunity with our global client based in South Africa. 

Our client is searching for a well educated and experienced Project Control Manager that has project experiences in the building of MWe Coal Fired Supers 

The project control manager will have experience that will include estimating and budget development, commitment, processing, forecasting and trending, cash flow forecasting, baseline programme and schedule development and monitoring, document management.  

The successful Project Control Manager’s key areas of responsibility will be the overall management and leadership of the project control function including estimating & QS services, planning & scheduling services engineering, cost accounting, forecasting & trending, document control management and project IT and systems. Staffing of project control function in accordance with the project manpower plan, regular monthly updating of manpower plan in cooperation with the human resource department, production of manpower and labor histograms and S-curves. You will development and implementation of project control systems, processes and procedures in line with our clients standards, change / variation control. Ensure system set up to record, track and evaluate impacts of change to main sub to suppliers and sub-contractors in so far as time and money.  Management reporting, coordination and preparation reports to main the contractor and our clients home office and executive steering committees,  HSE. Strive for zero incidents in department by adhering to project procedures and standards and looking out for potentially dangerous situations.

 This opportunity will require you to have qualification: M+4, NVQ6, BS Registration with relevant professional body preferred, e.g. SAPCI (CEASA). You will also have a a minimum of 10 to 15 years experience in the project and involving project control following sectors:

o power generation (coal/gas fired, nuclear

o oil and gas (chemical and petrochemical)

o industrial projects
