Planning Engineer – Consultancy - Central London
Planning Engineer is required by leading multi disciplinary consultancy. They have over half a century of experience in the delivery of complex projects to clients around the World. Due to increasing workloads they are now seeking to appoint a Junior Planning Engineer for their Central London office.
On offer is a basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum plus a benefits package comprising of pension, healthcare, profit share, bonus etc.
Reporting to the Planning Manager and Planning Director the successful candidate will join their specialist project planning team and they will be involved on major projects to include buildings, infrastructure and energy.
Responsibilities
- Updating programmes.
- Collecting and analysing data.
- Progress reporting and rescheduling.
- Eventually be responsible for building a programme from first principles.
- Attending project team meetings to present work and support other members of project teams.
Candidate Specification
- Have relevant professional qualification, ideally to degree standard, in an engineering or building discipline
- At least 3 years planning experience within the UK on construction projects
- A good understanding of construction techniques and the design progress.
- Self motivated and proactive
- Very good communicator (verbal, written and listening) and with strong influencing skills
- Good Client Facing skills
