This new opportunity has just arisen with a major civil engineering company.  They provide a full spectrum of services to capital projects in infrastructure, construction and government sectors around the world, and have an excellent reputation for high-quality and innovative work.  They are now looking for a Civils Project Planner to join them in their Crossrail team in their office in central London.  Your role will be to use Primavera P6 to produce programmes for a major heavy civils project, and then track and report on changes as notified under the NEC contract employed.



To be considered for the role, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:



- High degree of competency using Primavera P6;

- Thorough understanding of the principles and application of Earned Value Management;

- Strong background in the UK heavy civils sector;

- Proven experience of the NEC form of contracts.



From time to time you may be required to undertake site visits to live rail sites.   Therefore you must also either a) hold a current PTS card or b) be able to pass a PTS course shortly after joining.



The position is offered on a permanent basis at a salary of c. £55k - £65k + bonus + benefits package.
