URGENT, Senior Planner and Planning Manager for leading civils contractor, Devon, permanent, salaries up to £64,000 + package.
These roles have arisen do to a high increase in workload and a desire to grow a successful team. This team holds a solid pipeline of secured work for the next 4 years on a host of mid to large sized projects within the civil engineering discipline. With these positions there would be a mix of circa 75% site planning and 25% tender planning. The positions are with a top 15 contractor who work internationally and across all sectors. They have one of the UK construction industry’s lowest staff turnover rates and offer high levels of structured career development and training.
Duties:
- Mentoring of junior members of staff
- Attendance of site visits in the local area
- Preparation and creation of complex programmes using Primavera P6
- Monthly reporting and updating of project plans
- Presenting to client and offering contractual advice
- Preparation of tender programmes using Primavera
Ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years planning experience with a main contractor
- Civil engineering experience and a relevant qualification
- Full experience and understanding of Primavera P6 software
- Leadership or management experience is desired
- Mix of tender and site experience is essential
- A site engineering/management or project management background is desired
- Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK. Candidates who do not already hold visas and work permits will not be considered for these positions.
- Individuals must be highly motivated and driven
On offer with these roles are competitive salaries of up to £64,000 + £6k car allowance, health care, life insurance, family health care, and pension and guaranteed bonus. You will also be given an education allowance to aide you in expanding on your qualifications.
