Senior Planning Engineer – Contract Position

Senior Planning Engineer is required by a civil engineering main contractor to be responsible for a portfolio of minor works and infrastructure projects in the Midlands. The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for providing both tender planning and support as required to live projects.

The Senior Planning Engineer will be based in Birmingham and on offer is a day rate of circa £350 per day.

Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this position:

  • Site experience on civil engineering projects including roads & highways construction or transport infrastructure projects.
  • Tender experience
  • Knowledge of planning requirements under the NEC forms of contract
  • Strong knowledge of planning software packages.
