My client is one of Australia's largest project development and contracting groups. They have a range of capabilities across diverse industry sectors with activities in the telecommunications, engineering and infrastructure, building and property, mining and resources, and environmental services industries.
Due to business growth and the recent award of some substantial projects, my client is now seeking a number of experienced Planning Engineers with a track record of working on civil engineering project for their operations in New South Wales and Australian Capital State.
Roads & Highways
Senior Planning Engineers
They currently have five +$500m highways projects currently ongoing or just starting in New South Wales which requires Senior Planning Engineers to be based on site.
To be considered candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- +7 years experience (5 years in planning)
- Roads & General Civil Engineering Experience
- Experienced site based project planning on +$150m projects
- Main Contractor background preferred
- Primavera P6 user
- Must be able to build up programme from first principles. E.g. Drawings, Specifications and Quantities.
- Good Communicator – Presentation Skills
They are also seeking Civil Engineering Planners for their Sydney office to work within the Estimating Department on tenders.
Railway Infrastructure
Planning Engineer to Lead Planning Engineer
The Railway Infrastructure Business is currently seeking talented Planning Engineers at all levels for their operations in New South Wales & Australian Capital State.
- Engineering background ie; solid career in the industry ICE/CIOB and understands how projects are built.
- Civils experience on Projects ie; Roads / Rail or Water / Industrial / Power etc.
- Design experience of monitoring D&B contracts
- Tender experience on Civils projects
- Temporary works appreciation
- EOT Contract experience
- EVM Cost/Time establishment & evaluation
- Primavera P6 experience
- Dashboard development of performance monitoring
- 3D/4D/BIM experience
- Track record of working for established main contractors.
- Stable career history.
- Senior candidates will need to have experience in leading teams of Planners – Mentoring & Coaching
