Senior Construction Planning Engineer – Central London
Senior Construction Planning Engineer is required by leading multi disciplinary consultancy. They have over half a century of experience in the delivery of complex projects to clients around the World. Due to increasing workloads they are now seeking to appoint a Senior Construction Planning Engineer for their Central London office. On offer is a basic salary of up to £65,000 per annum plus a benefits package comprising of car or car allowance, pension, healthcare etc.
Reporting to the Planning Director the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning of the design and construction stages for major building developments.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of the lead construction planning role for internal and external clients, primarily in the buildings sector, but also in infrastructure and energy.
- Winning work for the Project Planning team.
- Responsibility for their own billability and profitability and in due course other members of the team.
- Be aware of developments and best practice within the Project Planning profession
- Support the leader of the Project Planning team in the management of the Planning team.
Candidate Specification
- Professional qualification, ideally to degree standard, in an engineering or building discipline
- At least 10 years experience of construction planning on significant construction projects, including much time on site
- Self motivated
- Proactive
- Takes action and gets involved
- Very good communicator (verbal, written and listening) and with strong influencing skills
- Good Client Facing skills
