X3 Planning Engineer – Freelance – Mining & Metals
Logmor Projects International Limited has 3 excellent opportunities for planning engineer to work for a leading business based in West London on a long term freelance / contract.
Our client is a well established management consultancy with offices strategically based around the world; they have continued to grow even with recessions / credit crunches around us & will offer a stable and continuous contract.
The project is a Large Mining project in Africa, study being conducted in the West London, UK offices. This is an Iron Ore development, including process plant and associated infrastructure. The project will include management of prefeasibility study (PFS) engineer and consultants to delivery PFS within approved timeframe.
These opportunities is for x3 planning engineers that are degree educated or have 5 + Years pertinent experience with strong conversant primavera 6 and Mining & Metals project experiences. You will have understanding of controlling and monitoring during PFS phases, have a proven understanding of project controls processes, procedures and reporting requirements with the ability to develop high level schedules for overall project development from first principles.
The successful planning engineers will day-to-day management of schedules including development of Master Schedule, Reporting /Progress monitoring of deliverables from a Master Planning Perspective, Reporting of Key Interfaces between contractors. This is a client facing position so you must be able to analyse consultant’s performances and suggest corrective actions
