Planning Engineer – Asta Powerproject –Construction – Surrey – Salary up to £45,000 + package.
The company: A well respected main contractor who work on projects that include hospitals, colleges, private residential, social housing, mixed use, retail and commercial. Current workload ranges in value from £500,000 - £26 million, all within the M25. This role would offer a split of 40% tender to 60% site/contract.
Gold Group has worked with this particular contractor for close to 10 years and have recruited all of their planners into the business. The individual who take up this position will report into a respected Planning Manager who is succession planning for his role, this offers a great amount of opportunity.
The candidate must hold the following:
Minimum of 5 years’ planning experience working on building schemes (preferably new build or refurbishment)
Must be conversant with the use of Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project
A mixture of both tender and site/contract/project planning experience preferably on similar schemes to those stated above
A good knowledge of tower cranes and other plant
Ability to assess projects for time and methodology
A UK main contractor background is essential
Full UK driving licence as this role require site visits
Must have a positive attitude and be highly career motivated
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK, no visa sponsorship is being offered
