Regional Planning Engineer, Civils - £60k plus package
Regional Planning Engineer is required by a leading civil engineering main contractor to be responsible for a portfolio of minor works and infrastructure projects in the Midlands. The Regional Planning Engineer will become a key member of their regional work winning team based in Birmingham and the role is responsible for providing both tender planning and support as required to live projects.
Responsibilities
- Produce fully resourced and logic linked tender programmes
- Produce methodology statements and phasing diagrams for tender quality submissions
- Attend client interviews to explain our planning proposals
- Develop tender programmes to obtain Client acceptance
- Produce updated project programmes showing progress to date
- Introduce compensation event activities into programmes and advise effects
- Ensure that all issues within the programme are highlighted and understood by senior management
- Give appropriate planning advice and support to project teams where required
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this exciting career opportunity:
- Previous civil engineering site experience ideally at Sub Agent/Agent level on transport or infrastructure projects
- Previous experience of tender planning
- Knowledge of planning requirements under the NEC forms of contract
- Ability to work to challenging tender deadlines
- Working knowledge of Primavera Suretrak or similar planning software
On offer is a basic salary of up to £60,000 per annum plus a benefits package comprising of company car or car allowance, pension, healthcare, flexible benefits scheme and a generous holiday entitlement.
