Due to the award of new projects and a number of current live schemes, a leading brand in the UK civil engineering market seeks to employ a Project Planner for their team based in Hertfordshire.

This exciting opportunity will see you work on variety of civil engineering projects covering the rail, water and highways markets. You will join a company that have some very exciting growth plans and is renowned for the support and development of their staff.

The Role and Responsibilities

The role of Project Planner will see you play a lead role in providing planning input of all current live schemes and future projects. You will prepare programmes using P3/P6 for the project teams in accordance with the various contract requirements. You will attend project progress meetings when required and be the planning technical lead with any issues. You will maintain weekly updates of all project programmes as well as identifying and risk during each programme.

Requirements

In order to be considered for the role of Project Planner, candidates will need to demonstrate and possess the following:

*Experience of using P3 or P6 planning software
*Experience of working for a main contractor
*Experience of working in the rail, civil engineering, water or highways markets in the UK
*Previous planning experience.
