Senior Planning Engineer – Construction – Asta Powerproiect – Tender & Site Planning – Permanent – London – Salary up to £70,000 + package
A role has arisen with a top 10, leading and well respected main contractor for a Senior Planner to join a busy pre-construction team in central London. The work would be split 90% tender 10% site on projects that include academies, high rise office blocks, retail parks, schools bsf, hospitals and government buildings. Projects range in value from £1 million to £300 million and the software in use is Asta Powerproject.

They offer a unique opportunity in the form of structured career development and progression plans tailored to each individual’s career goals and expertise. This means that for every 6 month period, you would know exactly what tasks you need to undertake to move up the career and salary ladder. The projects are interesting and the workload is high. Coupled with progression, a salary of up to £70,000 is on offer with a package that includes car or car allowance, BUPA, healthcare, pension, life insurance, guaranteed bonus/profit share, sponsored education and fuel card.
The duties of the role would include:
- Developing target an master programmes from tender programmes for medium sized projects
- Producing logistic plans and method statements
- Attending numerous tender and site meetings with clients inside the M25
- Mentoring of junior planner and training of PM where necessary
- Offer support in the production of method statements and scaffold schedules
- Produce fully robust tender programmes compliant with tender sum
Skills & experience required
- Relevant degree or qualification
- Minimum of 5 years solid, construction planning experience
- A background of both tender and site planning on build schemes
- Extensive experience of programme and project management
- Good written and technical skills
- Background working within a pre-construction team
- Ability to work either as part of a team or on own initiative
- A strong and robust personality and high level of career motivation
- Must be fully conversant with the use of Asta Powerproject software
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO LIVE & WORK IN THE UK, NO VISA SPONSORSHIP ON OFFER DUE TO ROLE URGENCY
