My client is an organisation who provides services to major infrastructure projects throughout the United Kingdom and overseas. Project portfolios include maintenance and manage services within the rail, highways, commercial property, and waste sectors.
A Senior Bid Planner is required for a major Highways PFI bid. You will be working with operational teams, bid teams, and Senior Directors. You will develop all programmes for the bid submission, tracking progress, variations, and forecast delivery dates. You will also work on expenditure issues for the programmes. You will be a key contact for the bid teams and provide advice where necessary. You will be responsible for the preparation of reports, and providing information on forecasts to teams. You will be able to use Primavera P6. You will have project knowledge about Highway maintenance projects and civil engineering projects. You will also need to be competent producing tender and bid programmes.
You will receive a daily rate of between £400 and £500 a day depending on your ability and knowledge. You will be located in the Oxford office. Your contract will last until December 2011.
