Due to a recent restructure, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Primavera planning professional to fulfil the position of Planning Manager.
This challenging and rewarding position will see the successful candidate lead and inspire a team of planning professionals and will be based in the Midlands.
Candidates will need to have current or past UK experience and have the ability to work in the UK without sponsorship.
The Role
The key purpose of the position of Planning Manager is to take ownership of all planning processes, risk management for the company, management and support of the planning team accompanied with the development and growth of the team.
Responsibilities
The Planning Manager will report into the Head of Operations and will be responsible for the development of all staff and you will ensure that the planning department is resourced to support the current/future business needs. You will play a lead role in supporting the tendering department with the development of bid programs for a variety of UK based projects. Using your past experience, you will continuously manage and develop the current procedures and process striving for best practise at all times. You will monitor UK based programmes and update project leaders and senior management on the progression of each scheme maintaining accurate earned value, cash predictions and resource data.
Requirements
This opportunity would suit a current Planning Manager looking for a new challenge/ experience, or a Senior/Project Planner looking to make their next career move.
Successful applicants will need to demonstrate and possess the following:
*Ideally degree qualified or minimum HND
*Previous experience working as a Planning Manager / Team Leader
*Experience of working on multi-disciplined rail engineering projects in excess of £10million
*Excellent knowledge of Primavera P3e
