One of the UK's largest civil engineering organisations has an exceptional chance for a talented Planning Manager to join them in their head office in central London.

As a Planning Manager, you will supervise schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan development activities for medium to large sized projects along with supporting project organisational and administrative activities. In addition you will also supervise the development and integration of individual schedules into the total project plan and establish milestones for the total project and supervises schedule resource loading and leveling.

It is also important you are degree qualified, and can demonstrate proficiency in discipline specific software applications such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Applications. Experience of working in a planning role on major rail or tunnelling  infrastructure projects is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have come from a site background and have hands-on experience of heavy civil engineering and other associated projects valued up to the region of £20mn.

This is an exciting role that will offer you the chance to not only get involved with one of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK at the moment but will also offer you the career path into more of a group-wide role, taking on additional seniority and responsibility for tender planning and offering input into a number of projects and contracts across the country, as well as supervising and managing more junior planners within the company.
