Construction Planning Engineer – West London
My client is a leading name in the UK Main Contracting business that has a highly regarded reputation for delivering high quality construction projects including a not limited to the commercial, health, education and housing sectors. Due to the upturn in the UK Construction market and a significant increase in current workloads they are now seeking a Planning Engineer to help reinforce their regional operations planning function which is based in West London.
Reporting into the Planning Manager you will join an already existing team of 4 planners and be responsible for the planning of projects at both pre-construction and construction stages that vary in size from £5m to £60m. The successful candidate will join a young and dynamic team and be given the opportunity to take on an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects from cradle to the grave.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered for this opportunity:
- Strong understanding of construction techniques.
- 5 years planning experience on UK construction projects.
- Main contractor experience.
- HND level education or equivalent is desirable.
- Experienced in the use of Asta Powerproject planning software.
- Preferably have both tender and contract planning experience.
- Strong team player.
- Good communication skills.
