Project Global are representing a World Renouned Mining Compnay in their pursuit for a quality Project Controls Manager based out of Perth, Australia.
This Project Controls Manager is responsible for the supervision and delivery of all project controls services. The scope of the Project Controls function includes (but is not limited to) estimating, budgeting, forecasting, progressing, cost controlling, planning, performance measurement, reporting, and managing relevant project processes and procedures. Other responsibilities of the Project Controls Manager may include the following:
- Develop and maintain the project cost estimate and budget throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop the project plan and schedule throughout the project lifecycle
- Provides leadership to the Owner's Team Project Controls personnel as well as the Project Controlsteams of contractor's (e.g. EPCM) and consultants engaged on the project.
- Provide appropriate and timely reports to the GM/Lead Project Controls and relevant stakeholdersthroughout the project life-cycle so that the appropriate action can be taken in time to keep the projecton-track.
- Proactively seek opportunities to limit project threats and promote project opportunities
- Drive a culture of collaboration and improvement within the Project Controls Team
- Ensure effective project team leadership providing operational direction, defining and monitoringmeasures of success.
To be in contention for this assignment you will need to of held a management position for at least 5 years and a strong background within project controls. Ideally we're looking for a candidate who has been involved at management levels a huge mining project.
