My client a globally renowned, premiere EPCM Construction outfit that specialise within the Energy, Mineral & Metals and Civil/Infrastructure services require all levels of Cost experts to work on a Multi Billion $ mining project based out of Head office; Perth, Western Australia. This company has a global presence on 5 continents with a total employee number that exceeds 40,000.

 

As mentioned Project Global are spearheading the recruitment and are interested in speaking with any Cost Control specialists (cost engineer to cost managers) that have a strong energy (oil and gas/Petrochemical) or Metals/Minerals background.

 

Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Australia on a permanent basis, please note this is lifestyle change, and is the job offer is not on an ‘expatriate’ basis.

 

What is needed to be a successful candidate?

 

  • Proven cost engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years
  • Exposure to either the Oil & Gas or Metals and Minerals industry
  • A genuine interest in relocating to Australia – looking for a lifestyle change.
  • Ideally EPCM experience – Fluor, Worley Parsons, KBR, Foster Wheeler etc.
  • Major project experience

 

If you fulfil the above criteria, the candidate can look to earn up to a salary of $180,000-$200,000 AUD + super Annuation (9%) dependent on experience. If you are willing to work on site on a rotational basis back to Perth, you can expect to earn anything up to 40% site uplift (dependent on project). Company 457 VISA’ will be provided for you and your family and the turnaround time, should you decide to take the opportunity is generally in the region of 1-3 months.
