The operator and maintainer of the UK's Rail Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join its Programme Controls team based in Souihwark, London.
As Project Planner you will use your expertise in project planning to work closely with programme and project managers by developing a project work breakdown structure so projects can be monitored efficiently and professionally.
You will be responsible for monitoring programmes and regular updates for a large portfolio of complex work projects. You will have a detailed knowledge of Primavera P3e and an understanding of the wider Project Management Framework. You will also have a srong knowledge of earned value management and milestone and KPI reporting will also help you to keep control of the variety of projects, ensuring that they are delivered to the high standard expected.
You wil be working on Thameslink Key Output 2 which is a £2bn programme of works delivering a new station at London Bridge, major changes to the railway around London Bridge and several other smaller packages of work to support the delivery of a major upgrade to Thameslink Services in 2018.
To be considered for this role you will have extensive experience in working with Primavera P5/P6, together with knowledge of TILOS time Change software, experience in management, planning or delivery of major construction and engineering projects, a working knowledge of investment programme and project controls processes and systems and be able to manage data in a proficient and competent manner.
In return for your skills and experience you will be rewarded with a contract intially until November 18th 2011 and a contract rate of up to £370 Per day.
