Project Global are representing a globally renowned Engineering firm in their search for Senior Planning Engineer for their Multi Billion $ mining division. You will be based out of a London office and expected to provide the following services.
To provide planning / project control services to a project, suite of projects or proposals. Duties include the development and maintenance of the resource loaded project schedule, updating and validation of progress, the evaluation and reporting of project status.Act as a focal point for the project team regarding scheduling and progress issues. Ensure that the schedules and systems are integrated to measure, trend, and forecast the work, and are in place and managed. Contribute to the change management process, analysing and reporting schedule and cost impacts to the project.
Candidates will need the following experience to be successful:
- 7-10 years (min) planning experience
- Energy project experience – Ideally the Mining sector however, not essential
- Primavera P6 experience
- Degree qualified
