Project Controls Manager

We are looking to recruit a Project Controls Manager with experience of mining/EPCM environment.

You will be an expert in Project Controls Management naturally taking a lead in the timely completion of this large scale complex project within budget.

Specific tasks will include, but not be limited to:

• Ensuring project delivery meets the client’s requirements in terms of time,  quality and cost.
• Providing leadership and guidance to planning engineers, schedulers, cost engineers and finance personnel in the timely and successful completion of their work.
• Plan and schedule the project in line with the project requirements using the latest version of Primavera and compatible cost control software.
• Regularly, periodically report and effectively communicate the status of the project to management and as appropriate throughout the project  team
• Co-ordinate internal reviews of project package team performance in line with the contract work schedule progress and anticipated costs and report accordingly to the PM, SPPM’s and PPM’s.
• Prepare the progress measurement system and review progress against it both in terms of time and cost.
• Implement the Project wide Contract work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution and delivery of the project.
• Interface with the client’s finance department on all financial matters related to the project performance.
