Project Planner required for an airport terminal construction project based in Kenya
Initial 6 month contract with a potential 3 years of work
Role
Working for the Client on an a design and construction project.
Manage relationships between Design and Construction Programmes
Monitor Contractors programmes highlighting delay trends
Produce Spend profiles; both actual and forecast
Present monthly programme reports to management
Person
Willing to live and work in Kenya
Confident in communicating at all levels
Good presentation skills
Persistent (in pursuing contractors for information)
Numerate
Experience / Skills
6 years using Primavera or Power Project in construction projects
Must have completed at least one project using Earned Value Management
Must have previous Project Management, Project Support or Business Management experience
Some experience in Risk Management techniques would be a benefit
The role can be either contract or permanent to suit.
