The Organization provides construction, engineering and project management services for major infrastructure projects in the transport, energy, mining, and oil and gas sectors throughout the world.

 A Senior Planner is required for a major airport project in Qatar. You will have a good technical understanding of construction and infrastructure projects. You Planning skills will include general scheduling such as creating, updating and maintaining schedules, cost and resource loading, performance and KPI’s, variance analysis, earned value analysis, critical path and delay analysis. You will work with the Planning Manager and Principal engineer to contribute towards the development of policies, processes and procedures. You will produce weekly and monthly progress reports. You will be involved with time extension entitlement in relation to claims and change. You will also be responsible for giving presentations to senior management in terms of existing stages of the programme and forecasts for future stages. You will be able to use Primavera P6.

You will receive a basic annual salary of between £52,000 and £67,000 depending on your ability and knowledge. You will receive a 5% travel allowance paid pro rata, based from your basic salary. You will receive an overtime payment when you have completed 48 hours in a week, again paid pro rata in relation to the weeks where you have met or exceeded 48hrs. You will receive 26 days holiday and in addition you will receive 8 days holiday on months 4 and 8, and your flights will be paid for from your home country to Qatar. You will receive free accommodation, or you will be given an allowance if you find your own accommodation.  You will be located in the Qatar offices.
