NRSWA Planner

We are looking for a NRSWA Planner for a staff position based in Leicester/Northampton.
 
The project is M1 Corridor Gas Alliance.
 
Key Tasks

• To liaise with Operational Staff, i.e. Construction Engineers, Supervisors, Production Planner and Project Manager to ensure that a comprehensive detailed programme is produced.
• Submit required notices to Local Authorities in accordance with the new Traffic Management Act and New Roads and Streets Works Act and ensure that all works are carried out legally and in accordance with the requirements for working within the public highway and minimise fines in terms of Section 74 overruns and Fix Penalty Notices.
• To develop and maintain close working relationships with Local Authorities and the Highways. Work closely with the Production Planner and ensure that notices reflect plans created by Construction Engineers.
• Attend the weekly planning meeting with front line managers to collect information regarding performance against the programme and reflect changes to the programme by re scheduling notices as required.
• Update the project programme accordingly in Primavera and collect and enter work done into Primavera.

 
Skills / Knowledge / Experience

• Experience in a similar role within the Street Works arena is essential
• Programme management and co-ordination experience is essential
• Knowledge of Section 74 and TMA requirements
• Experience of Gas or Utilities works is essential
