When the project was levelled it is necessary to know new activity floats, what activities are critical in the current schedule, activity drags and other data that we use in the schedule that was not levelled. You can always compare what happened after leveling with the schedule before leveling and analyze changes.
But there is a problem with P6 - in many cases it calculates wrong resource constrained activity floats. Floats shown in the levelled schedule can be wrong and so be careful.
If the Resource Critical Path is determined after leveling, what value does the Show Resource Critical Paths tool add? I understand its purpose is to show hidden critical paths that are hidden until you execute Show Resource Critical Paths.
I found that after leveling, I get the same outcome whether I perform either:
Both tools list the path through A-B as the Critical and Resource-Critical Path.
Before leveling, the outcomes for tools (1 and 2) list the path through C as both the Critical and Resource-Critical Path.
I keep getting the same results for both the Backward Activity Critical Path and the Resource Critical Path. Before leveling both output paths through C and after leveling both output paths through A-B.
Can you provide an example of where (after leveling) I would get different results when performing a 1—Show Backward Activity Critical Path and 2—Show Resource Critical Path?

I think this is a bug
Once I turn on View Activity Critical Path tool bar and use it I can not toggel it off I have to totally exit P6

I find this feature in P6 about as useful as a shamen and a bag of chicken bones.

Resource Critical Path can be determined not before but after project resource levelling.
