Hi Jithin,

Assuming that you have all the settings in place and correct such as maintain and assigned baseline to current project and it was match on the project settings on baseline for earned value calculation, Earned Value calculation was set on Budgeted Value with Planned Date, checked and recalculate cost and total Budget At Completion is correct then the following should have the correct data:

Column to show:

  • Budget At Completion (BAC) = Baseline labour cost + Baseline non-labour cost + baseline material cost + baseline expenses = Baseline Total Cost
  • Schedule % Complete = Planned % complete up to the data date (Baseline completion % complete so far)
  • Plan Value Cost = Budget At Completion * Schedule % Complete (baseline plan value)
  • Performance % Complete = Percent use to calculate Earned Value (based on the settings technique your project using for computing performance % complete, Activity % Complete by default)
  • Earned Value Cost = Budget At Completion * Performance % Complete
  • Actual Cost = labour cost + non-labour cost + material cost + expenses = actual cost to date to data date (manual input)
  • Cost % Complete = Actual Cost / At Completion Total Cost

Hi Jithin,

Try these columns to show Planned Values (PV) and Earned Values (EV).

  • Budgeted Total Cost
  • BL Project Start
  • BL Project Finish
  • Start
  • Finish
  • Schedule % Complete
  • Performance % Complete
  • Planned Value Cost
  • Earned Value Cost
  • Schedule Variance

When you say Actual % do you mean the actual cost (such as operating costs, material costs, overheads) that is keyed in by the user, or do you mean the Earned Value, which is auto-calculated by P6 based on the % complete of the activities keyed in by the user
