Error Code DSEIS-2129-2

Member for

The cause:

The P6 application runs queries that use non-ANSI outer join operators ("*="  or "=*"). To be able to run these queries, SQL Server database compatibility level should be set to 80.  However, this is not supported in SQL Server 2012 and later versions,  causing this issue to occur. The SQL Server version installed is not supported to work with your P6 version.

Solutions

Solution 1

1) Backup your P6 database

2) Export all your data to P6 files. (Projects to XER, Layouts to PLF)

3) Uninstall unsupported SQL Server version

4) Install a supported SQL Server version

5) Create a P6 database and configure the alias

6) Import the files back into P6 database

Solution 2

Upgrade your database and P6 application to a version where SQL Server 2012 is supported

If you don't have the rights to delete the WBS, just Hide it.
