Apologies, I have not been checking things as much as I should be. Certainly Hermie should not be bragging about Open Plan outside the Open Plan section. Let the Open Plan section sell the software on its merits by a genuine dialogue with real users. Planning Planet is not a Sales tool. Hermie can no doubt answer peoples querries about the tool. If Open Plan is responsive to User needs then that sells the software.
I like Bernards idea of a thread for the vendors to battle it out!

I havent read Hermies posts (havent been around much as of late Im afraid), but what you describe sounds iffy to me. At least Vladimir is willing to discuss topics independent of his Spider Project, but he skirts the line many times too IMO.
Perhaps we should start a single thread in the general planning forum titled Vendor Showdown and let Hermie, Vladimir, the Asta guys, etc. duke it out? lol...
No, that did not seem to work. He has now created two more threads bragging about Open Plan features. At least this time, he did it in the Open Plan venue.
Question: Is it allowable to have a software seller continiously start new threads to extoll the various virtues of their product? I kind of need a ruleing on this one from PP management. A sinmple Yes or No answer would be appreciated.

Suggest we can trial the Vendor Showdown area.
Suggest also we should allow this sort of stuff to continue IF the vendors also contribute positively by answering questions etc.
