Couple of problems with P6's stacked histograms.

"At Completion Units" is the only choice, "Remaining" and "Forecast" might be more useful

The filter to identify each data range only lets you select from attributes of the Resource Dictionary NOT the Resource Assignment. This is very restricting, for example you might be using the same resource for regular maintenance and for turnaround activities – you can’t colour these differently. Indeed the same resource on two different projects cannot be coloured different.

 And of course you can't show the data range table under the histogram.

Primavera P6 stacked histograms are powerful tools. I recommend to use it for cost and resource loading purposes. Here you can find an article explains stacked bar charts and primavera stacked histograms
