Work Products can include any project or activity deliverables that will be turned over to the end user or customer, e.g. AutoCAD .DWG files, testing plans, and blueprints. Documents can be any reference associated with an activity. Examples could include a statement of work, product data sheets, or material safety data sheets. The intent of Primavera P6 Professional and the WPs & Docs feature is to be the central repository for all project related files and other documents.
I hope this helps.

Hi Emilie,
a very interesting post, indeed; could you explain the difference between "Work Product" and "Document"?
Thank you,
