I have found similar problems, and the answer is more RAM, depending on the size of the project (no of activities), you may need to upgrade to as much as 1Gb. On a previous projects I had the problem that I would run out of memory if I tried to print summarised barcharts. I was runnining 512Mb and had to upgrade to Gb to resolve the problem. It is a known fact that database resident programs run better with more RAM.
I am currently on a project where we a running Windows NT, aand am having serious conflicts with P3. Speed is very slow, and the program freezes regularly. Does anybody know of a cure?

Eventhough you have 250mb RAM, some opened applications prior to opening of p3 or during start up other applications may take considerable memory in windows xp, hence try to remove unnecessary applications from system tray or using msconfig.exe or so, then try to open p3 application you can see it will work faster.

Dont know if it will help you all, but try this:
Goto your windows folder
Goto your system folder
Start the file W32mkset.exe
From the categories choose: Memory Resources
Then change the Current Allocation of the Cache Allocation from the default of 512 to 4096
This will reserve more memory for btrieve.
If you cant find it in the system folder, check the system32 folder.
Hope this helps.

There is no problems with the other applications normally as i have already tried that.
