Good to hear this help. Please keep in mind that in MSP 2007 this will not work because the ability to save a .mpp file as HTML was eliminated. In MSP 2010 you can achieve an export keeping the WBS structure using copy and paste into Excel.
Hemanth is correct, however, his method it will only apply to 2010 MS Project. However, if you are using 2003 there is a way of doing this. Here is an article that I wrote a few years ago. I will only work for 2003 because the ability to save a file as HTML was removed in 2007. In all versions the export function will not maintain the structure.

For Better Presentation, Group the Activities in MSP, Then Copy Paste
All Horizontal bands will be there with all the text formats and color ( Only vertical bands will be missing )
