I was in the impression that Jhorbam’s project had a delay coz of suspension of certain activities but as Jhorbam has said:
OD 75
Worked Days : 50
RD:25
Required % Complete: = 67%
Actual % Complete = 45%
Which means delay was due to slow progress of works.
The solution is what Daniel & Gary have said.
Once you ‘Store period performace’ you actuals till date will be stored. The next issue would be to plan the activities which are on the critical path to achieve your project duration of 145 days.
Only activities in progress would show problems with (budgeted qty, units pertime period etc) coz I believe the remaining activities which have not started do not need to be adjusted unless they are critical and driving or they have too much float.
You could ‘Freeze the resources’ and increase the remaining duration to suit your requirement. This will change the budgeted quantity accordingly. You should be aware that this will also change the Budgeted Qty for material resources which should be readjusted manually as this is a fixed quantity

I think what you are trying to do is to re-baseline the programme based on the additonal eot of 45 days.
What you can do is make the plan equal to actual upto your cut-off date in March as you mention. Actual is actual and that is your as-built programme up to 30 March, then you plan your remaining activities to be completed within remaining time left, in this case 95 days to go, which is a total of 145 days from commencement of project. After you plan the remaining works together with your plan resources,(qty, manhours, cost) you can now calculate your percent complete for each week. Hope this helps..if you have anymore questions..let me know
Cheers,
Daniel

Hi Shareef...thanks 4 ur answer but i have to fix something.
When i said Freeze...is not to stop the activities...is only the follow...based in my original message:
Activitie 1.
Days to execution = 75
Percent complete = 45%
worked days = 50
left days = 25
Data date = March 30/2010
Well...until March 30 we had worked 50 days, executing a 45% of the activitie...but in this day we have to make the cut and in March 31 start the news percents of the reprogramming...but that i say that i have to make a picture or freeze the information in the excel sheet of the all data from march 30 to back....
cause...all the columns from 31 of march in forward will have the new programmed percents...and all the information backward or from march 30 to the begin cant be modified...but that i said freeze...the project or the work in any momment will be stopped....ill tray to put a example in excel to upload an put it here like example.

This is a very good question and I dont know how all our experts missed this one.....This is one situation many intermediate planners face....
Well I am not a master myself but ill try to explain what i would do.
Now from what I could make out one or some of your activities had been obstructed for some days and you incurred a delay and the client accepted to give you a 45 days extension. Now my first query would be on what basis did they give this 45 days?
Coz if it was determined from the programme you would just have to suspend that particular activity and resume it on the day it got cleared(well actually i have not myself checked whether the remaining duration and the budget all freezes....if yes then this is what you have to do).
And if this 45 days delay was a guess, as far as I have seen would normally be lesser than what should really be given. In which case you still will have to suspend the activities which were obstructed and see the impact of this on the your latest data date(the data date for your revised programme)&(i am hoping you are not trying to revise your baseline programme and that the programme revision is going to be done on your updated programme).
if the impact of the suspension of activties show more than 145 days in your case(100+45) (since i belive you got extension of 45 days coz this delay was on the critical path) then you will have to Keep the Freeze resources option unchecked and reduce the Original duration on some of your activities which are on the critical path to get your project back on schedule.
Only activities which have actual start dates and are in progress will show problems (with budgeted quantities),
I believe this would give you your resource loading report fairly.
Ok guyz Atleast I tried....
I am expecting to hear the right method to handle this from the experts....
Best regards

One friend tell me the follow as possible answer to my question...
Give to each activity the roght rise in the lag of the same...well when you finish to adjust the lag of the all activities then generate the RESOURCE LOADING REPORT again.
well, can someone tell me if this is the rigth solution of my problem or have someone another solution in mind?

Jhorbam,
I believe you want to know how to extend the duration of an activity without changing the amount of actual work reported for previous months?
If so, you want to use the "store period performance" function
