That is the way P3 (and all other CPM software) works. Actual dates cause the computed dates to be either overwritten or blanked-out. An Actual Finish date will blank out or overwrite your late computed dates (as well as Total Float). P6 is the lone exception to this rule and even that has other columns that mimic this condition.
You have to ask yourself, why do I want a ‘computed’ estimate date when I already have an actual, ‘fixed’ date? (By the way, there are some advanced, esoteric reasons for needing computed dates for completed activities, but don’t let’s confuse the issue right now.) Good luck!
