well personally i was facing the same issues but i managed to get a loan from this organisation called "what tarrif" the service was great and i recieved a home secured loan within 2 weeks with a great interest
P3e 4.0 you can entre negative value for budget and actual
This is very usefull to track the cash flow.
Especially, the PM can use these financial information together with the project schedule. Traditionally in P3 this is impossible since the costing rule is not adaptable with accounting rules.

As far as I know you cannot enter a negative value to a resource in the Price/Unit section.
If all you need to do is display a negative value in a column called "Bugeted Cost" then creat a custom item.
Id be interested to know why you want a negative value though?

It is obvious - negative cost means income or financing. The question is correct - it is about simulating cash flow.

Interesting point.
A negative value to budget cost means no budget allocated.
If the item been budget, the value is positive.
If the budget is shared with other item, then you still have a positive value and the "loan" item have a positive value with less amount.
