It might have happened as these pervasive drivers (Currnetly available in market) are for Windows 95/NT and NOT for Xp.
I have tried to do registry restore, system restore, reinstalling pervasive drivers with correct default options, removing all ODBC files manually from registry but to avail no solution for this.
My IT Engineers have finally reformatted the system.
[To check the date of these drivers, Go To -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> data Sources -> Drivers -> ODBC; It will show u something absurd date. In my case, it was showing 1/12/1800]
