I think the original post was asking about the P3 feature called the Datometer. No this is not in P3e. However as MKSE suggests make a request to Primavera Systems.
What I meant was that, when you move the cursor around the graphic area, we can see the date on the top correspond to the location of the graphic area, not physically stretching the bars.

You have noticed a difference between P3 and P3e. P3 early activity dates are automatically changed when you change the graphical bar manually.
The same type of thing holds true for P3e (but you didnt notice.) You think that the dates didnt change because the dates in the activity box didnt change. Here lies the difference.
With P3e, the graphical bar does not depict the activity early dates - it reflects the activitys planned dates. When you change the bar manually in P3e, you change the planned dates, not the early dates. Good luck!
