Update: it appears that we can still have one or two Guest postings. We are having problems in finding out how this can occur but will advise once the method has been found.

Hi there,

PP Development is now back on track. We have the new server, we have a more powerful software package. We also have two young techies who will help with development issues - not sure if they really expect to be paid. Could be a problem!

First order of the day was to remove the Forum Guest Feature.

Hopefully if anyone presses the "Post Reply" or "Post Message" they will be taken to the login page if they are not logged in. This should also cope with the instances where a PPer is logged in but the session has timed-out before he has finished posting.

I guess we wait for feedback to see how many complaints we have.

PP Development Team.

I agree with Bernard and Ronald. People should join. We have become of sufficient size and influence that things should be attributable. Guy

I say get rid of it as well. If someone needs to not give his real name, the current system doesn’t prevent them from getting a pseudonym.

As mentioned previously, it’s value is overshadowed by its abuse. The PP is large/popular enough now that it should be retired IMO. Let folks register as members if they want to post. It prevent a lot of problems from happening in the first place.
