Ref. 2) Introduce e.g. a "Number 1"-column with a customized field containing an iff-equation asking where Total Slack equals zero (critical task). If so, it should be "1" otherwise "0". For the summaries you will then just put it to roll up with a sum function. In total 2-3 min. work. You will now get a count of all you critical task within each summary and also a total for the overall project assuming you have an overall summary bar for the project.
Ref. 3) Similar introduce a "Number 2" column again with a iif-equation asking where "Constraint Type" differs from zero, where zero represents "As Soon As Possible". If differs then "1" otherwise "0". Again do a roll up with a sum function. Same result as above.
The different constraints types in MSP is represented by a number, e.g. ASAP equals "0" whereas SNET is represented by the value "4" and FNET equals "6".
The above takes in total 5 min, so no need to import to Excel or use Primavera in this case, unless I have misunderstood your question.

thanks for your reply, for all the three requirements, I export it to excel and used count formula but I did not use the filter for no.1, I used excel and used count blank.
so, Primavera is more powerful in this case.

Dear Moutaz,
You can also easily do 2 and 3 in MSP.

yâ sahbi moutaz,
I am afraid you will not be able to obtain all these informations in one report only.
1. Open end activities : create a filter that says
Summary = No AND Successor = (keep the lats column empty)
2. Nbr of critical tasks : I would export critical tasks to Excel and then count them
3. Nbr of constraints : same as 2.
3la kheir,
Alexandre
