How can i read Paul.E.Hariis white paper on this topic

Hemanth,

that’s a joke, do you know how much is a PM6 license?

will you use PM6 only to translate a MSP file into P3 format?

the Primavera and Sciforma utilities cost nothing and are working well; refer to Paul E. Harris white paper on the subject if you need

Mohammed, you need first to convert the mpp file into mpx format; mpx format was developped by MS 15 years ago to allow transferring MS Project schedules to other scheduling softwares.

MS Project does not include mpp to mpx conversion facility since MSP 2000, therefore you will have to download a 3rd party software either from primavera.com or sciforma.com

Then use the MPX to P3 conversion tool available with P3.

Beware that MSP and P3 are not scheduling projects 100% in the same way, you will have to make some corrections in the P3 schedule.
