You seem to infer that all activities listed as being on the critical path must have the same float in order to be a valid critical path. This was never a part of the definition of “critical path.”
Many issues can cause the longest chain of activities to have different float; activity and resource calendars, interruptible activities, start versus finish float, and constraints come to mind immediately. you can fix a number for the total float and the filter will display all activities having a TF less than this number...
